Founder & Lead Instructor
Sarah brings over 12 years of experience in yoga, pilates, and functional movement training. She holds certifications in Vinyasa Yoga (RYT-500), Pilates Mat & Reformer, and Functional Range Conditioning.
After years of working in high-pressure corporate environments, Sarah discovered how intentional movement transformed her relationship with stress and her body. She created Serene Movement to share these practices with other women seeking balance, strength, and peace in their lives.
Sarah's teaching style emphasizes body awareness, proper alignment, and meeting yourself exactly where you are. Her classes blend technical precision with warmth and encouragement, creating an environment where growth happens naturally.
Real experiences from women who've made Serene Movement part of their wellness journey.
"I came to my first class nervous and unsure, but Sarah made me feel so welcome. Three months in, I've noticed real improvements in my flexibility and my chronic back tension has decreased significantly."
"The Pilates Core & Posture class has been transformative for my desk-job posture. I feel stronger and more aligned in my daily life. The small class sizes mean I get personalized attention every session."
"At 52, I thought I was too old to start yoga. The Gentle Flow class proved me wrong. The environment is so supportive, and I've gained flexibility I didn't think was possible at my age."
"The breathwork sessions have helped me manage my anxiety better than I ever imagined. I use the techniques Sarah taught me every day, especially during stressful work moments."
"I love that this is a women-only space. It feels safe and judgment-free. The Strength for Women class has helped me build confidence both physically and mentally."
"After having my second baby, I needed to rebuild strength gently. The instructors understand postpartum bodies and helped me progress safely. I'm now stronger than before pregnancy."
"The community here is incredible. I've made genuine friendships with women who support each other's wellness goals. It's so much more than just a fitness class."
"I was skeptical about online classes, but they're excellent quality. The instructors are clear and attentive even through video. It's perfect for days I can't make it to the studio."

Absolutely! We design our beginner classes specifically for women who are new to movement practices. Our instructors provide clear guidance, modifications for every pose or exercise, and create a judgment-free environment. Many of our current members started with zero experience. We recommend beginning with Beginner Yoga Flow or Gentle Flow, where you'll learn foundational techniques at a comfortable pace.
Memberships are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. You can cancel anytime by providing 30 days written notice via email. Your membership will remain active through the end of your paid period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you're unhappy within your first 14 days of membership, we offer a full refund—no questions asked. See our full Refund Policy below for complete details.
